Chalets with Gorge Views
Each chalet has a small kitchen with a microwave and an oven. Some units overlook the gorge. Rooms include a private bathroom, free WiFi, and a safety deposit box. The chalets are basic but clean, with braai facilities outside. Some guests noted the furniture is dated and the shower taps can be tricky. Daily housekeeping is not provided; only a check-out clean.
On-site Dining
The restaurant is open from 11:00 to 21:00 and serves well-priced meals including excellent pizzas. Breakfast can be booked on arrival. The restaurant shares the same stunning views of the gorge. There is also a small shop at reception for essentials.
Pool and Recreation
The outdoor swimming pool is a cold-water infinity pool with a view over the gorge. Other facilities include billiards, table tennis, temporary art galleries, a games room, a children's playground, and kids' outdoor play equipment. The garden has BBQ facilities, an outdoor fireplace, and a terrace. The property is open all year.
Location and Attractions
Panorama Chalets & Rest Camp is in Graskop, next to Graskop Gorge. It is a short walk to the Graskop Gorge Lift. Popular viewpoints like God's Window, Mac Mac Falls, and the Blyde River Canyon are nearby. The Phabeni Gate of Kruger National Park is 50 km away. Free private parking is available on site.
